Breakfast is considered one of the most important meals of the day but the problem is whenever we do wake up we are either too tired or we are always in a rush. So in this video, I’m going to be teaching you a super simple heart healthy recipe that’s good for the heart. Coming right up. Hey y’all, Aman here and you’re watching Heart Limits. So in this video I’m going to be teaching you a (how many ingredient is it?) two or technically three ingredient recipe to make a banana pancake. It’s so simple that I have no idea why my mom didn’t prepare this type of pancake for me before. And I always had those (you know those) overly sweetened, overly sugary pancakes that I don’t know I guess this would have been a cheaper, a better and a healthier alternative. So, let’s get right into this. So I mentioned earlier it was a two or technically three ingredient recipe, so let’s get our ingredients. Here we go. Let’s open the fridge. Alright. So ingredient number one is an egg. Alright… so… yeah an egg. Number two is a banana. Well of course since it is a banana pancake recipe we need a banana or it would be called technically something else. Number three is (it’s actually quite hard to do it with one hand) and number three is, we need a little butter. So now let’s start our prep. Alright? So, I mentioned earlier you need the one egg. So let’s crack that egg. Okay. Let’s put it in a bowl. I’m happy. I’m I’m really happy. (there’s not) There’s no shell that kind of went in the bowl because I’m not really that extraordinary at cooking. So here is the egg and so what we do is we are going to beat the egg. Beat the egg… beat the egg… So number two is the banana. Alright? So we’re gonna peel the banana. For the banana, first thing is we’re gonna slice it into small pieces. Alright? Just to simplify. It’s not extraordinary how I’m slicing just so you know but whatever. Hehehe. So with that same fork, anyway you’re technically going to be mixing the two ingredients. What you need to do is you need to mash up your banana. So you’re gonna press on the banana. So basically you have to press on all of it. So I’ve technically mashed up everything. In the end it should technically look like this. So it’s completely mashed up and what you’re gonna do is you’re gonna put all of this inside the bowl where you have beaten your egg. Alright? So in the end it’s gonna look like this after mixing up your mashed banana and your beaten egg. So now, let’s start the cooking process. So we are just gonna put it at medium heat because the problem is if you put it too hot it’s gonna burn really fast and if it’s too low it will just basically just take you forever, so just put it on medium heat. Before starting any cooking, what’s important is you cut a small piece of butter just so that it is easy for you to flip over the pancake. Alright? So for this video, just so that hopefully the pancake looks decent, I’m gonna try to make two pancakes with the use of one egg and one banana. Well of course you can make three or if you want you can make one giant pancake if you are in a rush. The process is really fast. So, let’s do this. So let’s start with your little bit of butter, (you know) just a tiny little piece. And what’s important is that you spread it all over the pan. Now, we’re gonna pour or at least try to estimate a proper estimate half of this thing. Alright? So I believe that is kind of half. Alright. So it looks a bit chunky so what you do is you try to spread it out a bit and try to form the typical pancake shape which is round. I’m not sure I can make a perfect circle but let’s try. I’m sure you guys might even be able to do a better job than I am. But I’m just gonna try to pull this off. Now it’s judgement day. We are going to try to flip it without it actually breaking apart. Haha. Now it would normally be easy with a normal pancake because it’s quite flat, it’s not chunky. Problem is this thing is a bit chunky so let’s see if I can pull this off. I’m a bit scared. I might use a fork just to help me. And I’m gonna flip it. Yeaaaaahh. I’m actually quite happy. It didn’t break apart. I did this a lot of times problem is that whenever I am in a rush I’m like kind of impatient. So in the end it kind of breaks apart. Well of course it tastes the same but it doesn’t look as appealing, so… Here you have your pancake. And that is pancake number one. Here we have our two pancakes. Alright. Now every person has their own way of eating their pancakes but to be honest with a banana pancake it’s actually surprisingly really good even just the way it is. So let’s take a bite right now. Alright. Uhmmm. It’s… It’s amazing. Cool thing is because a banana has properties which are rather quite sweet, when you eat it you don’t necessarily have to put anything. But of course, one some days where you kind of want to cheat some people would put some chocolate on top of it. Some people would put even some type of jam. I would suggest strawberry, it actually works pretty well. Some people would do the old style where they would put syrup. And some, would try to do something completely different. They would put a little greek yogurt on top and sometimes they are good with just that. Some they would put a little greek yogurt and put a little honey instead of syrup and even some they put greek yogurt with a little muesli, fruits and nuts. And good thing with this is you can change it up everyday but of course eating something consistently for a couple of days isn’t good. But, this is so simple and it’s very very healthy because the ingredients are very basic. So once again, Aman here and you’re watching Heart Limits.
