Fidget spinner cake Edible fidget spinner DIY

Hi guys in this video we are going to show
you how to make an edible DIY spinning fidget spinner cake coming right up In case you didnt
catch that in this weeks video we are going to make a spinning fidget spinner cake and
thats coming right up Hi guys welcome back to another video if your new to the channel
and you like making cakes and cake toppers make sure you subscribe so you dot miss any
more of my videos lets get into this tutorial so here we have our three cakes we have teo
square eight inch cakes and one tiny little 3 inch cake Ive also printed out a picture
of a fidget spinner that will fit within the eight inch cake and Ive got some circel cutters
that roughly match up to the size of the circles that are on the fidget spinner so here I am
trimming around the outside of the fidget spinner and I dont know how many times I am
going to say fidget spinner in this tutorial but its going to be a tounge twister thats
for sure fill the inside of your cake with frosting put your image of your fidget spinner
onto your cake and trim around the outside cover the rest of your cake with buttercream frosting my cakes alwyas
look so messy whenever I first put my frosting on thank goodness for smoothing thats all
I can say Meausre the size of the circle on the inside of the picture and use a cookie
cutter to cut out the tiny cake and cut in half pop on top of your cake and frost around
it now that our cake is iced we are going to pop it into the fridge for about 15 minutes
to chill and I know exactly what dylan and I are going to do while its chilling So now
that our cake is out of the fridge I realised I forgot to punch holes in it so Im using
a small circle cutterand creating little holes cover the cake with white fondant icing smooth
out the holes using a ball tool and its brody here helping mum with her video I got a fidget
spinnerso if you want to tell me in the comments which type of fidget spinner you think I have
leave it in the comments and Ill reply and Ill say yes your right oh will you now so
now im just smoothing out round where the fondant icing is trim around the edges with
a knife thanks for that brody your welcome now we are
going to turn this into a gold fidget spinner use a big fluffy brush and
gold edible powder and brush it on I do have an air brush for doing my cakes but I find
this far easier now i am cutting out some white circles colour them silver using edible
silver dust if you guys have been watching my videos for a while you will know that I
lik to decorate my cake board so I have covered this cake board in white fondant and I am
punching in loads of circles with my circle cutter I dont even know what this is supposed
to be but its better than a plain board go in with some shadow grey edible dust and shade
around your cake board back to the fidget spinners let me know in the comments what
type of fidget spinner you have oh my goodness your fidget spinner crazy! fidget spinner
mania has hit our house with a bang has it hit your house are your kids fidget spinner
crazy I didnt even know they existed until last monday and now its ll the kids can talk
about back to the cake so I transferred the cake onto our cake board and now I am just
putting our silver discs that we have cut out on to the cake and filling in the holes
with my ball tool very gently make sure they are in the middle of your circle use a medium
sized cutter to cut out some smaller black circles leave the to the side to dry we need
them to harden to keep their form once they have dried use the smallest circle cutter
that you have and cut a hole in the inside transfer those onto your cake take some more
of the shadow grey dust and create some shading and shade around the outside of the centre
art of the cake and there you have it your very own gold diy handmade edible fidget spinner
cake thank you so much for watching my video I hope you enjoyed it if you did dont forget
to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel so you dont miss next weeks video
see you next week bye!

  4. Omg your accents are so adorable! I'm Australian, so a bit plain. Lol. I'm hoping it's a blue fidget spinner. Blue is my favourite colour, and my daughters. Unfortunately, until they diagnose her arthritis (what kind) and treat her pain and swelling, she can't use it. It has flashing colour lights on it too.
Great cake, mama. Xx love to you all. And foxes are so cute.. But baby ones.. Aw. Wish we could see them. 😊
