๐ŸŒˆ ๐Ÿฐ How To Bake A Rainbow Mirror Glaze Cake ~ Epic FAIL ??? ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜œ

Welcome back if you’re new here hi I’m

the minute my next video comes out alright let me show you how we made this
ring bow glaze my daughter’s, Xanthe, first baked my vanilla sponge cake
recipe that you can see in this video over here next she cut it in half so
that we could have two layers to put yummy icing between she separated the
layers and then got ready to make some yummy eggs then she made a batch of my
mocha buttercream icing that you can see in this video over here and of course
she had to taste it to make sure it was okay she grabbed her cake board and then
put some icing on the bottom of it to stop the cake from sliding then she
removed the parchment paper from the bottom of the cake and centered that on
the cake plate then using an offset spatula she put a layer of the mocha
buttercream icing on the inside of the cake she wanted to make the cake extra
yummy and what goes better with mocha than chocolate so she puts her favorite
chocolate bar Kit Kats in the center of the cake but of course she had to make
sure they were okay then she added an other layer of mocha buttercream icing
it is our favorite family icing and then it was of course time to put the top
layer on the cake and it was time to crumb coat this cake after she let it
cool in the fridge for a little while she put on the second layer and it was a
generous layer it may have gotten a little bit messy but not to worry she
cleaned it up just nice next came the really fun part we’d found
these little chocolate pebbles that were coated in different colored candy
coating and she used them to put on the side of the cake and it gave it such a
fun texture and it was so yummy to eat doesn’t that look just delicious next it
was time to whip up some royal icing for the glazed part and then to color them
into the different colors of the rainbow so to make it really easy what my
daughter did is she took the ziplock bags and put them inside a cup like this
and then as she makes up each color she would pour it into there because royal
icing will harden quite quickly so she wanted to make sure that we could zip
the ziplock closed and get the air out of it while she made each color as she
made each new color the base icing had started to dry up so we just added a
little bit of water to each one to smooth it out again which worked really
well after mixing up all of the colors that she wanted to have then what she
did is she took a pair of scissors and just snip the corner of each ziplock bag
and used that as her icing piping bag then it was time to have some fun and
swirl on the icing she started with pink and then added the
orange and then the purple and then the green and then the blue which she
squeezed it a little bit slower and it give a really cool wobble effect and
then she topped it all off with a lovely light yellow to brighten up the cake
making sure to get nice and close to the edge of the cake
then using a toothpick she’s zigzag back and forth through the icing on the top
of the cake in a spiral all the way around making a really cool effect and
then she did a second row and a third row really really getting the icing to
mix in between the lines it was such a neat look and then going around it again
and making like a flower pattern back and forth doesn’t that look really cool
and fun and makes you just want to eat cake really so my daughter and I had fun
admiring this beautiful cake and then we let it sit for awhile and because the
icing took a little wild to such it actually started dripping down the side
much to my daughters dismayed but I personally think it looked super cool
and everybody who came to my daughter’s birthday loved it
besides making your own birthday cake is like the coolest thing ever because you
know you’re going to enjoy it so even though the top didn’t quite last the way
that she was hoping it would it was a super delicious cake everybody enjoyed
all the yummy Kit Kats that were inside of it and they were just excited for her
great job kiddo you did a isn’t my daughter just so sweet to do these cakes
